terragrunt-infrastructure-catalog-example v1.2.0: Terragrunt 1.1.0 and a Catalog Ignore File

The terragrunt-infrastructure-catalog-example repo published v1.2.0 on October 22, 2026. The release moves the catalog to Terragrunt 1.1.0 and adds a .terragrunt-catalog-ignore file so the example works cleanly with the Terragrunt catalog command. It is a regular release, not a prerelease.

Terragrunt 1.1.0 and catalog behavior

The main change is the upgrade to Terragrunt 1.1.0 in PR #22. Since this repo serves as a reference catalog, the bump also brings catalog related housekeeping. The new .terragrunt-catalog-ignore file, added in PR #26, tells the catalog tooling what to skip when listing modules. If you copied this repo as a starting point, it is worth mirroring both changes. Note that Terragrunt 1.2.0 already exists upstream, so this catalog stays one minor version behind for now.

Better example content

Two changes make the modules more useful as examples. PR #29 adds for_each usage, which shows a pattern many teams reach for but rarely see in sample configs. The Go version used by the test harness moved to v1.27.3 in PR #30.

Dependency and test cleanup

Most of the release is dependency maintenance in the test setup. Dependabot bumped github.com/ulikunitz/xz to 0.5.14, golang.org/x/crypto to 0.52.0, github.com/klauspost/compress to 1.18.7, and several AWS SDK modules including service/lambda to 1.88.5 and service/s3 to 1.97.3. One bump landed in the example units themselves: filippo.io/edwards25519 under units/ecs-fargate-stateful-service/src. There is also a test fix in PR #36. None of this changes module behavior, but it closes known vulnerable versions of xz and crypto.
